The Regent Hotel in the Centre of Cambridge is a fine Georgian Grade II listed building. In 1871 it was the original home of the first five Newnham College Students. It is now a privately run Hotel owned by the same family since 1950.

All of the 22 en-suite bedrooms at the Hotel are air conditioned for the comfort and convenience of our customers and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Whether you're here to visit relatives, the city's historic Colleges, the great shops or to meet business colleagues you'll find a warm welcome and an enjoyable stay at the Regent Hotel.
We no longer offer a full breakfast but between the hours of 7am to 11am (8am to 11am on Sundays and Bank Holidays) we will offer free of charge to our guests coffee, tea, fruit juice, fruit and bakery goods in our lounge/bar area.
Please note that the Hotel does not have its own private car park however parking is permitted on the Single Yellow line at the rear of the Hotel from 18:30 hours to 08:30 hours Monday to Saturday. There are no restrictions on Sunday at the rear of the Hotel when parking on the Single Yellow line. The nearest Car Park is the Queen Ann Terrace Car Park.
We are closed for Christmas and New Year from 20 December 2019 and re-open on 6 January 2020 however you can check availability and book a room online using our booking button.
